  • A couple moments from The Social Band, a new work for dance, commissioned by choreographer Stephen Petronio for Othershore.

    The text is a 19th-century African American slave song. A version of this will most likely make it on the next record, as this piece began as Son Lux track with different lyrics.

    The dance premieres Feb 10-12 at the Historic Asolo Theater at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota.
