Very excited to be a part of this. I mean, LOOK at that list of composers! Those familiar with Let Go, from We Are Rising, will recognize elements of the title track. I composed Beautiful Mechanical a while ago now (Oct 2009?), but I brought members of yMusic into the studio to play sections of it this past February so I could “sample” myself (check the video below). I used it as a starting point and foundation for Let Go, which also features DM Stith and Peter Silberman of The Antlers on vocals. Beautiful Mechanical is out today on New Amsterdam Records.
